Landrace: locally-adapted diversity

The tomatoes were outside hardening off. It was sunny and about 50F. A sudden hail storm came along. It dropped about 1.5" of hail all of a sudden. I was about a mile away from them at the time, and I had to wait for the storm to pass in order to be able to drive. So they were only out for about 15 minutes. And then they went immediately into a warm greenhouse. So no harm done that day.
