Misti, I've always, since a small boy, been fascinated with carnivorous plants. My first exposure was one summer when my mother brought home a cobra lily potted plant, and her explanation to me of what it was and how it worked sparked an interest, which though never well fed, has remained ever since.

Many years ago, when I was managing a tropical fish farm, the owners purchased a second pre-existing farm. Around a couple of the ponds there were clumps of wild cobra lily. At another time, when my wife and I were looking to purchase a piece of property, there were tons of sundews growing in the moist shallow banks of a pond. I've also owned Venus fly traps a time or two over the years.

I don't own anything at present, but in talking about them I'm thinking I need to set up a small terrarium for at least a couple fly traps. I would love to introduce my granddaughter to them!

Looking forward to your pics!
