RedLeopard, if those Yellow Gem seeds came from me they are pretty old. I meant to mark them as old but can't remember if I did or not. I still have a pinch of them left if I can find them. This weekend I will give them a go, just in case there is an outlier and see if anything comes up.
I've planted out my first main crop tomatoes and the Whippersnappers are loaded with green fruits in the greenhouse. Winter was brutal and lasted a long time, but it seems some plants are working overtime to make up for it. I won't have any apricots or peaches this year, the record late winter temperatures took care of that, but the pears and apples are blooming nicely so I expect to harvest those at least. More notes for the garden journal.
Arlene I almost bought Sugar Pearl corn but changed my mind. I will be interested in hearing how you rate it for flavor.
