Alana, yes the Cerinthe 'Yellow Gem' seed were from you. I didn't mention your name as I didn't want it to sound like I was complaining and pointing fingers. They were dated, but I didn't record the date in my database and don't remember. 2010, maybe? At any rate, I appreciate your sending them to me and giving me the opportunity to try.

I got number of nice things from you in the swap. Some that I'm really happy about at the moment are the different colors of Musk Mallow. I have a number of seedlings of the pink, the yellow, and the orange from you, and of the red from another source.

I had the pink and the red quite a number of years ago and really liked them. I especially liked how they had the underground tubers that helped them deal with our sandy soil during our dry season. I don't know how I managed to lose them, but I've wanted them again for a long time now.

I'm especially interested in seeing how the seedlings of the orange turn out, as from your description and the photo you posted, I expect it was a hybrid. Possibly a cross between the pink and the yellow. At any rate, it will be fun to see what the seed produce!
