In the 2013 swap I shared hazelnut seeds. 14 months ago I planted a couple hundred seeds in my garden. Five plants sprouted and survived the 2014 growing season and are currently leafing out.

Today when I was weeding the hazelnut row I noticed many hazelnuts germinating... I counted at least 15 seedlings that are just sprouting... So if you planted them and nothing came up, there is still hope....

I dug up one of the nuts and tasted it... It was still perfectly edible.
