|Morning! Can't believe I managed to get to library two days in a row. Had to come to town to get finger and foot checked. Burned the snarf out of my finger and than about a week and a half ago was doing one of my coffee cravings at 3 in the morning and don't know what happened but one minute I wasw up the next flat across the kitchen floor. Didn't break my coffee cup but dumped it all, which made me mad cuz I had a mess to clean up. Went to get up and realized one of my toes was all twisted funny and backwards. Broke a toe and bruised the heck out of my foot. Freaked me out so bad I twisted it right and squished it back into place. Glad I did or I probably would have sat there in worse pain til a neighbor would get up. I can't believe the case of clumsies I have had lately. I guess balance is off cuz of head, but it is getting better bit by bit thankfully.
Just popping in quick to see how Patti and Corey were doing and hoping that they didn't get washed away in that flood mess out west that going on where they are at. Patti and Corey... Hope ya both are safe and sound. Heard ya got worse coming today and tommorrow at ya.
Arlene Won't be right away, but because of the icky weather we had here I didn't plant my Choco Cosmos seeds. With the weather being so bad here and plants croaking left and right I figured I had better wait for this year. I'll look and when I find them, I'll send the ones that Jonna sent me to you. Don't remember if it was 3 or 4 seeds she sent, but whatever the amount, I'll send them to you and maybe you'll have good luck with them and if you do, then I'll get some back from ya.
Joseph Fantastic on getting the seeds. Always a time to do a happy dance when you finally get some results from years of patient experimentation. I have to laugh everytime I read about orange skin. I been eating alot of sweet potatoes lately, working on getting healthy, trying to anyways and I laugh and wonder if today is the day I eat them and my skin has an orange glow.
Now I don't know whether this is true or not as I have not researched it yet, but I heard from a friend that sweet potatoes, a certain type are loaded with estrogen, which would be good for women who need that type of thing and don't want to do pills. Anybody else heard of such a thing?
Almost getting to be time to check the lights and get pepper and tomato seeds started. I just wonder if we gonna have a mild winter or a bitter , late, long cold one. I can't remember the last time it was this warm at this time of the season. Anybody got an Almanac that says what is coming for the next few months?
What plant or veggie is everybody most interested in for growing this coming year? I'm just starting to look, so I'm not sure just yet.
