Hope this holiday finds everybody well. Also remembering those that now are and have made sacrifices for us to be able to be here today.
Ewwwwwwww. Aphids are so nasty, but at least they an easy pest to get rid of. The flea beetles are starting to show up here and not only munch the plants but eating holes in the tomatoes. grrrr
The heat and humidity is on here big time. Soon I'll probably have to start giving my tomatoes a bleach spray to make sure fungal diseases from heat and humidity ruin the plants.
Later I am going to try and take a pic of a tiny wildflower I found yesterday. The flowers so tiny I almost missed it. The flowers remind me of a tiny miniature foxglove. What ever it is, it sure is cute.
Tics are running rampant here this year since we didn't have much of a winter cold. Of course it doesn't help that I have two huge does in the backyard right out the back door munching away. They dropping tics like crazy. They so nice to look at, but I am watching them devour all the passion vines in a matter of seconds.
I have a few things growing, but not too much. Still up some days and down the others and seems this is the year that everthing is breaking big time. I've had 4 major water leaks that I didn't even know were going on til so much damage was done. Still trying to get water out and then will have to rip up and replace 4 rooms of carpet and tornado winds and rains have ripped hole in roof.
Good news is I have 3 honey bees. I haven't seen honeybees round here for years. Don't know where they came from, but hope they stay. They working the tomato blooms like crazy.
