|Thanks so much for hosting the swap. I am glad that you had clear roads all the way to the happy people at the post office! It is icy and snowy here with more on the way for Tuesday. At least the power, phones and internet are working. Good weather for wintersowing piggy seeds!
Jill, your daughter is a gardener in training! What fun things are you going to plant together this year? I still remember starting seeds with my grandmother when I was young. We even grew an avocado pit and a pineapple.
While walking the pug, I found more blinds to cut for labels. I managed to balance the blinds, walk the dog and not slip on any ice on the way home. My containers of potting mix were frozen to the patio...argh...I had to pry them loose and bring them inside to defrost. This is my second year wintersowing. Last year, I ran out of potting mix. This year, it keeps getting frozen solid outside. Eventually, I'll get it right!
