Hmm. My sceptical mind is wondering... why freezing seeds would kill bugs unless the bugs are from the tropics? Plenty of bug eggs and larvea survive the winters here.

Don't get me wrong, I will probably freeze incoming annual seed now before sowing indoors, just in case, but it seems overdoing it to freeze the ones that will be winter sowed.

Also, what about spraying seeds with Lysol instead of hydrogen peroxide? The dahlia crowd usually sprays their tubers with Lysol, or dips them in bleach, or dusts them with yucky sulfur powder to protect against mold.
