| Are reptile pads generally safe for seed starting? I have one from long-gone pets - it seems like it is waterproof, but I don't know if it will have a low/stable enough temperature to not cook the seeds. (I've never started seeds on a heat mat, but I often run into low germination rates, so I'm thinking maybe I should give it a try.) |
