| I was allowed out for a bit this morning, long enough to walk the path in the stone circle twice and check a couple of flower beds. Both Stan and Blaze (our male Border Collie) were nervous with me out there walking around. My horoscope yesterday said that I should ask my body about scenarios that I usually look at from an intellectual place. My body mostly wants to go outside, and it thinks I also need to be writing more. Hmmm. The lady cardinal is also telling me that all of that unproductive sitting has got to end. She has other areas of interest now that spring is coming and needs me to start moving without her intervention. It has been two weeks of lovely weather, most of which I have observed through window glass. The grass is still mostly grey and flat, but the tiny crocus are out in force when the sun gets to them and the daffs and tulips are pushing up through the dirt like fine troupers. My hard work on the exercise front is paying off and I have been wandering around the house without the cane on a regular basis. I walk quite normally with the cane, and more than a bit robotically without it, but it has become one of those things, like reading glasses and car keys that get put down and then there's a hunt when I realize that I've been through three rooms without it. To be honest, as I"m looking around now, I don't see it. Guess I'd better go find it. The stone circle last summer:
