She picked up this table really cheap at Amvets - no glass top, so totally non-functional.......except in Donna's garden!

I wouldn't call your friend's place "overboard" at all. Not really too bad...but it could be, eventually, right ? lol
I'd call it "fun".

I have a sister who is the "queen of overkill "...but she KNOWS it, so that makes it ok. She has the worst complex about not being "artsy craftsy" (as she calls it...) and she's under the false impression that she has to compete with my other sisters as far as "decorating" goes. No one is doing any comparing or competing, but in HER mind, they are. (Can you say "paranoia? )

Anyway...one year it came time for HER to host the family Xmas Eve festivities at her house. (She started "planning" in MARCH...does this tell you anything ? )

She called me the night before and said, "When you come here tomorrow night, I want you to walk in by yourself...so you can see what I've done...you have to be by yourself, and NOT distracted by anyone else, OK ?"

I agreed, and when I got there she met me at the door and had everyone else go into the adjoining room. She let me in, and after I had a chance to "take it all in" (and there was a LOT to take in...) she said, "OK. So what do you think???"

I said (nicely of course...lol ), "I think you've discovered ANGEL HAIR !!! ".
It was EVERYWHERE. Tabletops, the mantle, inside the china cabinet. the tops of the toilet tanks, on top of the fridge, you name it. Every conceivable flat surface in her house had angel hair on it.

We now jokingly refer to that Xmas as the year of angel hair.

I'm glad you like Donna's "Whimsy Garden", as she calls it. So I'll show you a few more.

Okay, this one has to be a secret. She didn't want to be in any of my pictures, so I had to sneak one. In the mirror.

My theme is anything goes if the deer won't eat it!

these they won't nibble on -- or at least I haven't seen any teeth marks.
