Which picture do I start with---first ones first---or last ones---maybe my favorite ones? Sooo hard to choose---love them all!!! (except maybe the fuey dogs!)
Linda,
Guess since you started this, will begin with your fountain!
Have to admit, love painting the animals most, especially when they bring pictures of their own pets for me to copy!
It's hard to explain the look in their eyes when they see their pets done in a permanent statue---have actually seen them cry.
So rewarding to be able to give that to them!!!
This is just one example---these people had been looking for this statue for almost four years: Their first St. Bernard. Have to show you all of the views in order for you to really see it.
I picked out eight photos of all different angles in order to get as much detail as I could. Customers were suppossed to pick it up today, but with the rain---didn't happen. Will let you know if they are happy.
Here is a picture of the first concrete creation I did when I started working with Billi about six months ago---same one that Scarlet/Linda Is sitting by in the beginning picture of this forum.
I started this one out as a display but it didn't last five minutes after I put the clearcoat & it was sold. Have now sold three of them & if/when I get the time, am going to do another for display.
Even being a NON-GATOR fan--the Gator is one of my favorites! I may have to figure out a way to have one in my garden without being harassed about being a Seminole/Bulldog fan with a "GATOR"???
Well hello ladies! I'm glad to see you here. I love the pics. What an awesome gator. I like the deer as well. I was thinking that it probably wouldn't be a good idea to set one beside the road. LOL. That would cause a lot of swerving if not wrecks.
Wish I had gotten pictures of one of the ones we sold that went out in the bed of a pickup---it's head stuck out over the tailgate & you could see it's back over the top. ( Gator) Know that one had to turn some heads.
Have done three of them so far & when the weather gets better & I get the time---have another one to paint. Sold the display one that Linda is sitting by in her picture, & we miss having it there! Sure was an attention getter!
Also on my forth deer & still one more to paint when It comes in. They seem to be popular!
Will post some more pictures when I have a little time.
