This is both a review of a book that will give you much more information than I intend to, as well as a brief synopsis of what I am doing with my portable pens. I hope you enjoy it, and feel free to leave comments and thoughts on your own experiences, or what you hope to do.

Great news article, and I like your garden, too.

I need to make a tractor for my two little Cochin Banty hens. They scratch just about all day every day! Between them and the wild chickens around the house, I have few bugs.

Thanks for writing your article.

Maybe this article will convince some others to have chickens. A wonderful way to recycle bugs, leftovers, weeds, and just about anything else that the chicken can get a hold of.

Be yourself, you can be no one else
Chickens are great little composters, more efficient than pigs in my opinion. When we had an Old MacDonald type of farm, we had both. The chickens got the kitchen garbage. Now that I have neither, I bury it in the garden or put it in a pile of leaves and weeds to decay.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
