The brug in the second picture is not Desiree. It is Solid Gold. It is hanging over Desiree's pot! Rolling on the floor laughing Showing off... Hope Desiree takes notes! SHe has not bloomed yet.

Brugs do take up a lot of room. I had one once, It became a tree and I had no space.

I counted mine once and I had at least 150. Probably more. Some are in the ground though. I have given away bunches, but I still have too many. I have 2 greenhouses full. I would like to get it down to one greenhouse, but I can't just trash them.

Do you have more ground space? you could have a Brug forest. Rolling my eyes.
They are not hardy here , and my house is full of house plants,so much so I can not access a single window in the winter. Smiling

Oh, yes... I have plenty of room. But I don't like to put them in the ground anymore. They don't bloom as early and sometimes not at all. They freeze to the ground level every year and have to start over. I would like to dig up all that are in the ground now.

I used to bring my plants int he house when I did not have very many. But I really don't like to, and I am very grateful to have the greenhouses, although they are a lot of work for DH and they do tie us to the house all winter. But then the plants do that all year long. I can see the day coming when I decide to get rid of all of it...

I understand, my DH has provided and put up with my horses for 33+ years and when this Last one dies that will be it for me...we will then probably live somewhere with less up keep. He would like to travel.

We would too! We have a motor home but don't get to use it much.

DH just had a close call with his heart last month, and had a stint put in. I need to take better care of him!
