|Thank you very much Elena, that is very kind of you. We certainly do have some weak categories and have taken a little different stance. For instance, I have started a pressure cooker forum - it is private right now as I build the content-I won't make it public until there is a lot of content.
People don't like to click on something when there is no content; I know it makes me walk away from a website. The other thing is activity; I was looking for a discussion forum on high definition tvs and came across one that hadn't been posted to in 6 months. Of course, I walked away.
So foot traffic and fresh content is always good. But Dave say the data base(which I am tediously working on) and the articles are the two most important to bring new people in. I don't have anyone at the moment writing food articles so I feel that is the weak part of YumYum. And right now, because there is nothing, a person could write on any food subject they wished.
Too many things . . not enough hours in the day.
We'll get there ; we're in this together.
