I got the three first to sprout ones planted. A fourth seed sprouted but it is still small. The caging is to keep armadillos and cats from digging in the dirt and disturbing the plants. Karen
I am going to plant my second hill of these gourds after I get back to Texas. I am in Idaho visiting with my daughter and her family..My first hill is sending out runners like nuts!!! Will post pics soon as I get back.
How long does it take the seed to bloom and bare fruit??? i'm sure it is too late to plant now. i have snake seed but the rains stopped and if I start watering I got to keep it up.
I'm going to do better next year I hope.
