Cheryl, no need for postage, one of the members sent me extra stamps.

Samigal, let me know if you need some, I'll send them probably end of next week if that is alright, I've been volunteered to help teach a mosaic class for children (just a couple of time for the next couple of weeks), so they may go out late. But, you can join the effort in trying to grow some Giants with us and feel our wonderment, successes and growing pains..lol send me your address too.

A.

Sami, if you can, save the gray water, use that for the gourds, from doing the dishes, etc.. even from your bath tub, water one or two plants after your bath, using the bath water.

If you use the shower instead of the tub you can place a bucket in the shower with you you will be surprized how much water you will catch

I would love to try growing those giant gourds. I'll send you a Cmail with my address. Thanks!!

Someone else mentioned I should use gray water for my plants I'm going to get me a big bucket and save the water when I shower. I used my dishwasher today, I don't use it very much, and there went all my nice water down the drain. Since we are rationing water too I'll have to start saving. Hurray! Hurray! Lovey dubby

You probably don't get enough rain to put out a bucket to catch rainwater, do you? I have 5 gal. buckets I set out to catch the rain. That helps too.

Hi Charleyl's mom, I do put out a container to catch rain water, but never get enough to see me through the summer. It all depends on how wet a winter we get. Sometimes we can't see the street in front of the house because it is flooded. Been trying to figure a way to pump all that water into containers. Big Grin

I thought of a pump but that's as far as it went. My neighbors may think I'm going crazy. I don't live all that far from the state mental hospital either. At least I'm in within walking distance. Rolling on the floor laughing Going to check into this dirty water pump.
