Not sure where to ask a Question so you may move this to the appropriate place. I am making some dipper gourds to use in the garden these will be left outside and I would like them to last a while . so can I wax the outside to achieve that...and if so what kinda wax? Thanks for any help or suggestions. Cinda |

I used some floor wax, the paste type, it will last for only one season. You may want to use varnish.., I think either way, you have to re-seal them each year and they will last for several years as long as they don't touch the ground. Hopefully someone else will chime in.. I've been in classes for awhile now and hardly get computer time and I did not see your question. I'm so sorry. Antoinette |
