This I made from a Short Handle Dipper that wasn't trellised,,,so it curved. I only used a wax for the finish. Jp

Well, I've been at class and then teaching in the afternoon. It's been a long day, but, I wanted to check in here and say hello.

Bowling Alley Wax comes in a can,,,and they do use it to wax bowling alleys....it is a paste that will take a lot of rough use. but...you have to buff it to bring out the shine. Jo

Love it! Like everyone else, love the colors and I think a gourd always makes a perfect centerpiece for fall. Bowling alley wax huh? And you buy it at the bowling alley?

I drilled holes in the gourd. Then took yarn and just sewed it on the gourd. I made the yarn 4 strings thick to make it look fuller.
