| Is anyone still out there? I'm interested in growing some gourds. I have too many scuppernong grape vines on my very large trellis, and they are a lot of work to keep at bay. The tendrils grow about a food a week and I can't walk near them without being poked in the eye. Do you think it will work to cut some of the vines to the ground (and dig a little, they are sure stubborn) and plant some gourd seeds in their place? I just have the space and would like to see them grow instead of the grapes. |
