The potato plants are just beginning to flower, 45 days after planting. The corn is about 6 inches high -- not too likely to make "knee-high by the 4th of July" ! I'm just hopeful that we won't have a problem with raccoons this year, the last time I grew corn, 2 years ago, we only harvested about 3 ears, Racky and his buddies were harvesting them just slightly before they were ready for us to pick. Really looking forward to getting some early green beans out of the hoop house, they are starting to flower abundantly now and found a bean that's already a couple of inches long last night.
