Greyhound Adoption and Rescue: Last Will and Testament - addition
A codicil in one's Last Will and Testament for both owners:
If _____________________________ (the Group), refused to take in my dogs, or if my Personal Representative finds that _____________________________ (the Group) has ceased to function as a rescue (or placement) organization, he shall without any avoidable delay solicit the assistance of _____________________________ (the next nearest Group), a _______________ (State in the US) Corporation, in finding another dog rescue/placement organization.
Pending transfer to a dog rescue organization, my dogs shall be adequately cared for at the expense of my estate, if necessary by temporary placement in a commercial kennel from which good quality care can be reasonably expected. A contribution of $___________ for each dog shall be made at the expense of my estate, to the rescue organization that eventually places that dog in a loving and caring permanent home.
At all times, the actions of my Personal Representative on behalf of my dogs shall be guided by the knowledge that the quality of life of my dogs is of paramount importance to me.
That last sentence says it all. See you in Heaven.
