Well unless I make another hat no picture of it. A lady took it to a gift shop before I got to the picture taking part. But here's the fingerless mittens that go with the set.

You can find all kinds of patterns for both knit and crochet online just search for free fingerless mittens pattern or free fingerless gloves pattern and all kinds will pop up. If you want to knit them add the word knit, if you want to crochet them add the word crochet in front of pattern. These are a free pattern from Caron's site

Thank you. The pink ones are my own design I got tired of the same ole same ole patterns when I did those I just made up a design. They are reversible too so the wearer doesn't have to check which mitten goes on which hand since Iput the design on both sides.
There were lots more of them but I didn't remember to take pictures of all of them. 32 pairs to be exact between the 3rd week of Nov until just before Christmas. Most orders were for black, grey or tan.
I'm at the heel of the second sock so should have the pair done tonight or tomorrow depending on what else comes up today,

Where do you sell them? On Etsy or Ebay? I know what you mean about the busy. I made 4 of the Christmas Angels in a weekend and that was a crochet marathon!!!
Mindy.. Love your stuff and especially the socks. They sure do brighten a cold dreary day up. Do you put elastic in the top to keep them from falling down?

Candee I usually only sell my stuff when someone asks me to make them something locally. In the case of the fingerless mittens the ladies at Curves seen the pair I made one of the coaches last year when she showed me she still had them. One by one they started asking for them and what colors and sizes they wanted them made in. They left the design part up to me. I also have an elderly friend who likes to buy stuff I make just because I want to and she sends them to her sister and nieces. Now that she's getting more feeble it saves her from having to go out shopping at the stores. She does this all year long. Several pairs were given as gifts to the ladies on our gift list this year and everyone of them loved them.
Ella I didn't put any elastic in this pair since I'm just playing around with learning to make a pair that fit my feet perfectly. There is some sock yarn out there that has the elastic already in the yarn to make stretchy socks from. I haven't tried that yet but do have a skein of it. You can't see the ribbing in the sock pictured because it's stretched out. My fault for making them too long for my leg with the number of stitches I used. Should have cast on more stitches for a knee sock or stopped before I got to the calf of my leg. I'll let you know how they stay up once I get to wear them to Curves and exercise. Already know they are going to be too warm for that because my foot feels toasty in the one in the picture.

Thanks Candee. Please find the time to post what you are working on I might get ideas for Christmas gifts from you.
Right now I'm learning to read a chart to make a knitted Christmas ball that is stuffed with polyfil. It is supposed to have a design on it but the chart is new to me so I'm making the first one in plain red sparkly yarn. So far it looks like I understand the chart

I just finished another angel and breast cancer doily for a lady in TX and got them in the mail. Now finished a round doily for someone local and hope to find time to make more things for the next craft show!
Great job on that dress Candee. And the knitting for the doll is wonderful!!!! My granddaughters have these and for some reason I never thought to knit or crochet for them. Is there a place I can go online for directions????
