Give me a few days to post in the knitting forum I'm super busy right now with garden chores and general clean up outside plust DH is free to do what he wants except for checking cattle until Friday or Saturday and seems to need alot of my attention right now probably because he just became the proud owner of 2 bee hives Saturday and I'm his sounding board for what he's learning about bees and keeping them and what he wants to buy to take better care of them.
When I do post pictures I'll hunt up the ones I have besides the sweater.
When you get ready for making that sweater you just hollar I'll tell you what I need to make the pattern especially to fit you.

Haven't been in here for a while. Hope everyone is busy with a project or 2. We just finished an arbor that is painted hot pink that we will use for the upcoming BCA Step n Stride cancer walk. Each person will go through the arbor as they finish the walk. We plan to have a bubble machine blowing bubbles as they walk through, any ideas on what to decorate the pink arbor with? balloons?

Thanks, I like the idea of the pink and white and plan a trip to Michaels to get a vine and then some pink and white flowers. Great ideas, and I'll put them both to use. I'll have to remember to post a pic when we get it all up at the Step n Stride along with a sign that this is the Arbor of theVictory Lap Lane.

Sounds like an idea Anjl and along with the bubble machine should be a nice finish. Steve is making a sign to place next to it that says something like Victory Lane for the Final Lap.

Well I may be retiring so I went today and got some pink yarn to make some BC scarves for some friends in our group. What is everyone else up to anything?

Well the pink yarn didn't work out, but I did go back and get some boucle grey and made the neck wrap and adorned it with pink rose buttons. http://cubits.org/handmade/thread/view/48176/
I finished a cute lil hoodie sweater for my grandson (crocheted) now working on an afghan for my sofa. Also finishing up pj pants for DH, quilt for DS, and building the dollhouse kit DH bought me for christmas...I'll be happy if I can finish at least one of these projects in the next few weeks....a bit squirrely from working on too many projects at one time! lol

Wow, you do have a lot of projects going on. I can't generally do that, I am too OCB and once I start a project I just don't do much else until it is completed. I have been making those BC doilies and have finished 4 so far. It is nothing for me to start on it at 10am and the next thing I know it is 6 and I am still at it!
Not to mention the fact that I would likely have them so confused I'd wind up making an afghan for the sofa in the doll house!!!
LOL I AM planing on making a crocheted bedspread for the dollhouse, but I'll wait to start that one til after the house is built
I DID finish one doll house before starting the second one, but I cant watch TV while building so thats when I work on the crochet projects. The sewing projects were started a long time ago and I'm just trying to get them out of the UFO box before spring. I sit up here all by myself each week, bored outta my mind so having a bunch of irons in the fire helps keep me from getting bored... drives me batty at times, but I'm never bored!

Well, here I am but I didn't see a Polymer thread. I have never done clay slip, don't really want to post it there. I guess I'm to introduce myself??? Most of you know me as , Ridesredmule, other Charleen, Some even call me Bumble, just call, I'll answer.
I make Polyer clay creations and I love making my poly Charleys. Candee invited me to show how to do a Charley and it is not difficult at all. Just practice.

OMG thanks for coming and thanks for Charlie, I received the pin, chocolate and piggy yesterday and they are just adorable. The chocolate made me laugh out loud before even unwrapping the pin. It is wonderful and something I will treasure for a lifetime. Thank you sooooooooo much!!!
I will go and start you a thread for your treasures!!!
