ooh! love the humming bird doily, and the breast cancer doilies!

I am making my first 'sweater' using thread. I've never worked with the tiny thread and needles before and its wreaking havoc on my arthritic hands Glare but I'm bound and determined to finish this project LOL. Its a lacy pullover sweater thingy that you wear over a camisole.Good thing I'm wanting the finished results or I would have quit after the second row Big Grin

Thinking if I do anymore projects in tiny thread again it will be something small...like one of those doilies!

I get tired of working with thread when doing a large project so usually have a yarn one started to work on for a bit. Right now I'm working on a lace tablecloth; a Christmas pattern with bells, bows and snowflakes. About 1/4th of the way done. I also have a yarn scarf on the knitting needles.

Yep, it's supposed to be 54" x 84" or something in that range. Might be 56" x 84". My brain refuses to remember numbers correctly,. It's the second large one I've done. The last one was a round one to fit a 70" table with teapots.

I don't do well switching back and forth. Once I am working with the thread I need to stick with it because the yarn feels like it is huge!

It took practice but I can switch back and forth no problem now. Another 26 rows having the tablecloth half finished.

Here's the tablecloth almost half finished. Still like 24 rows but the main design is done on this half.

Been there done that! Doesn't matter how well I count sometimes, I still flub it up and have to rip. What I really hated was when I was making those doilies in sections and would finish a piece, sew in the ends and then find a mistake. It was almost impossible to rip after tucking in the ends of that thread.

You'll tackle something like it someday I have faith in you. You just need more confidence and that comes with experience.

I have about 96 more rows to go having it finished. Hit another make mistake on this row 50 times before you go to the next row and just got past that frustrating time today.

OK Everyone I am finally finished with the crocheting and end weaving in of the tablecloth, still like washing and blocking
Please forgive me for the photo quality the only place I had big enough to spread it out was my bed and the lighting in there is not terrific.
Floor in living room would have been better but 3 nosy dogs ruled that area out.
