I think I might have added too much.

. . . working are writing articles for Yum

. . . still trying to develop a pressure cooker forum.

. . . working on a tutorial for smoking meat.

. . . still cleaning the garage little by little. . tomatoes seeds are popping & by the week-end they will need to be moved out to the light stand in the garage.

. . . need to finish cleaning the car

. . the snow isn't quite gone but I keep walking by the flower beds and gaze at the amount of work they need.

. . I see the ice isn't out of the lake but I remind DH to get our fishing poles ready.

I do that too Arlene, frequently! Sad When I do my brain feels like there are so many unfinished items and it leaves me confused. So lately, I have been learning to delegate stuff (mom, sis and a friend are helping with articles and links for cubit) and re-writing the list putting items that require least amount of time to finish on top. That way more things on my list are getting crossed off, and my mind isnt so cluttered at the end of the day.

back to work on my list now!

There are days when I wonder if I'm trying to be Wonder Woman to my family and my community. I mean, not only am I the chief cook and bottle washer, I am also the housekeeper for 17 rooms. OK, admittedly, I only have to keep 10 of them clean, but still.

And then, for my town's community group, I am the email coordinator. I write and send out a weekly newsletter, I am on the Steering Committee and the Publicity Committee and I'm also a PTO member. I also built and now I maintain our town's community website, and, now that our PTO Auction is about a month away, I am working on that website, too.

Monday through Friday I also provide day care for 4 children, two of which are my 'grands'.

Sometimes it makes me dizzy ... but then I remember two very important things:
1. I can always say 'no'
2. I can do anything for 15 minutes

I think my plate is full enough right now, but I also know that when growing season is in full swing, I'll be able to handle that, too. I know I can because I want to handle it. All of these 'hats' I wear I am very passionate about, so I guess I am able to juggle them all without burning out.

Arlene, this is a great thread!! Thanks so much!!

Well today the whole day was spent working on an Article. Lentil Soup. lots of ideas are jotted down and I got a nice lunch out of the deal. But the whole day has gone by in a flash. . . didn't even get up to the garage to continue the cleaning.

This is more important now because the creative juices are flowing and cleaning a garage doesn't require anything from the brain.

I feel no guilt . . it was a lovely day.

Perpetually happy!
oh I love lentil soup!!

Gramma used to put lentils in her ox-tail soup so the mention of either gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

I need the recipe too!

Ok I've been cleaning in the kitchen from the cooking mess from yesterday. Sliced the pork butt I smoked and cleaned up the slicer.

Now the new monitor is here and I have to go get that hooked up so DH will be happy when he arrives home. I need to take a minute and clean the top of my desk; it's starting to get messy again.

I'll finish the garage this afternoon. Smoked meat tutorial is done; tomorrow it will be much easier going to post it then.

So then my plate won't be as full unless some bug crawls up and on it.
