Some days we want to shout from the roof tops, simply because we are feeling so good about ourselves or something we've accomplished.

Other days we want to sit in our favorite easy chair, huddled under a comfy blanket, and eat chocolates because we want to be cuddled and comforted.

I want you to know that each of these days is OK!

Life has not come to us with any guarantees. We have not been promised continual happiness, nor have we been promised continual days of stress. We have just been promised ... days.

It's what we choose to do, act, or react to and with our days that makes all the difference.

Thank you for pointing that out; we need to hear it.

Barb, I've not heard anything. I'll post if I do and please let us know if you do.

Candyce, yes, we have good days and better days, eh? Yesterday was a good day to enjoy this beautiful spring weather and just be. Which is what we did.

Thumbs up

If you go to Cubit Home there is an article by Rann - very interesting from the viewpoint of one who is there and terrific pictures taken by her sister....

I saw that photo. It was breath-taking. I need to go back and read the article though, 'cause I was on my way out when I noticed it.

Yesterday was NOT a good day for me. No matter what I did, it seemed like I was chasing my tail and not catching it! I didn't even sign on to the computer, I don't think!

But I am determined to have a better, non-stressed out day today.

I need to pop out again and pick up a few of the basics for the grocery list, and do some weeding in the kitchen garden, ... nice stuff to do!

WOW - three months have passed since we last "Caught up"!!!! And I'm the most guilty one. It's been a very hectic June and beginning of July for Norm and I. We had all kinds of family things going on.
Things are quieting down now though so I can spend some time here again. We have acquired several new toys (long overdue) and it's taking me forever it seems to get used to them. One being this computer. It is a laptop and until now I only had desk PCs. This keyboard feels so strange to me and I just barely touch the keys and the words are there. I didn't like the finger pad at all so Norm got me a wireless mouse instead. Much better.
We also are in the process of moving my sewing room from the basement to a smaller room upstairs. Our home is a one floor ranch and I felt like I was in a dungeon not knowing what was going on outside and having all artificial light. I must still use the basement for fabric storage but at least I can look out now and see the sky.
I have been inside forever now due to this humidity. I just can't breathe in it. But hopefully things will dry out here soon.
Hope all are well and saying hello to all and sending any necessary prayers.

Glad you moved your sewing room . . good move. I've been cooking all week-end . . making a special dinner for DH tonight. I sent him to the shower and when he's out we'll finish preparing the dinner together.

Picked our first green beens Sat night so that will be on the menu.
