Carol, are your comments true for the pottsii (Kuranda)IML0039 also?

I started growing hoyas with the belief that H. pottsii was impossible to bloom and that it was a real 'dog'. Well, anyone who says that just doesn't know how to grow it!!! H. pottsii, being from N. Australia should be grown VERY dry in the short days and cooler temps of winter. As soon as the days begin to really lengthen, begin the water. Since I have been doing this, my H. pottsii blooms nearly all spring and summer on and off. Put in bright light, the leaves take on wonderful tones of bronze and red....the flowers are very fragrant!!!
