You can't 'un-ring' a bell.
If you find out, let me know. I want a buotii, myself. I know epiphytica has a couple types... Not available when I ordered in the fall.

Also be on the look-out for Hoya halconensis, possibly a synonym...

KNG,

Do you have the yellowish-pinky one, or the lighter one? I love the look of this Hoya.

I have H buotii........Mine grows ok tho I've seen it grow better in other people's photos. I hear it needs a lot of moisture, which i give it...but for every 5 new leaves I get, 2 more will yellow off and drop. Lovely big flowers and a really delicious scent. First time it flowered for me I didnt notice, and when I turned the plant around to find the scent, I was impressed with the flowers. I also find it v prone to Mealy, like H sp 'Tanna Island'...similar leaf thickness......at least for me

LOL Carol, how much is Ted paying you. I buy from Ted alot, he is so funny. This last order he said I was contributing to his next trip in the spring. I got a platycaulis and this morning when I was fussing with the plants before work I noticed a new little leaf so I am hoping it is now on the road to growing.

FYI for Canadians here, I have an import permit for Hawaii if anyone wants to look at a group order in the spring.

I'll start a new thread on this too. Is that okay Lee Anne?
