There is one called Hoya brevialata. Various sites on Google have information. For example- Gardino nursery. Sorry, do not know what yours is.

It's all about choices.
It could be H. brevialata...but then....knowing EA it would be best to wait for a flower... Whistling

I got this new Hoya last night during a quick run to walmart.I was absolutely thrilled to see a new Hoya.

I took the picture last night and asked for an ID.If i had waited until this morning after cleaning the plant up and really looking at it up close i may have noticed among the stuff EA sprays their plants with which makes tons of white splash marks all over the leaves. The plant's leaves upper side are sparsely flecked. That is straight off the web site.

I use this web site to get info from and it also helps id plants sometimes. It said the plant is also confussed with H.incurvula which it much resembles, also sold as H.sp.Sulawesi.
Is there a Hoya Sulawesi ? I thought that was where some Hoya's are found growing in nature.

Here are some more pictures hopefully better pictures I'm definitely not a photographer,I'm lucky if the subject is completely in the picture!!! Rolling on the floor laughing

Jo..it's too difficult to know for certain if your new hoya is H. brevialata or not...it could be H. DS 70. It is NOT, however, H. incurvula or sp. Sulawesi. H. incurvula has longish leaves, there is indeed a sp. sulawesi...but, these are not produced by EA. Many people incorrectly name H. brevialata as H. incurvula or H. incurvula Sulawesi. I have all three, and they're all quite different...H. brevialata has nice blooms. EA sells a lot of H. DS70...and the vast majority of their hoyas are mis-labeled. I'm disinclined to believe that your plant is brevialata, as the foliage is far less dense on brevialata. BTW, Gardino's recently corrected their plant called H. incurvula Sulawesi to H. brevialata. I hope this helps...but, blooms will tell. Do a check on DS 70...your plant looks like mine. Best wishes, fondly, Patrick

Patrick thank you so much for your help!!!

I purchased a plant last summer (an EA nursery plant) it was labeled Hoya bilobata 'tsangii. It didn't take long until i found that i probably had a DS-70.Then after a lot of searching & research and hearing other people's thoughts, I'm still not positive what the plant is.I found a picture of a DS-70 leaf next to a bilobata leaf, front & back.My plant bleeds white in the picture the DS-70 leaf has a lot of a white substance at the leaf's stem where it was removed.Well to make this shorter, would you and anyone else mind looking at my pictures & the web site pictures?I am still no closer to having an absolute ID,now on 2 of my Hoya's.
