I did not see June thread so I thought I will start one-
I have only one lacunosa and it os called lacunosa Poonsak.
First ever bloom on it, lovely scent reminds me of Cattleya orchids-
Name: Carol Noel Hawaii (near Hilo) It's all about choices.
All my my lacunosa have generally the same size blossoms, except for one David Liddle called 'Giant'...but they are hardly much bigger than the others...maybe a wee big.... Poonsak has nice elongated leaves...
I forgot who posted their Lacunosa before...2 bloooms: regular size and the "Giant'. That's the name of it Carol? Lacunosa Poonsak 'Giant'? It's very cute!
How big is your Eriostemma Kalani? Sometimes it looks so big in a picture...hard to image the bloom.
Thank you!!

The name of Alkas' photo is H. lacunosa Poonsak (a Thai by the name of Poonsak climbed a tree to collect the plant so DL gave it the 'clone' name of Poonsak). There is another H. lacunosa sold by Liddles nursery with the 'moniker' Giant (I don't have the whole IML # but it does include the number 45) which is slightly larger. Accent on the 'slightly'.
I think you are right Julie,i have this one.i got it a few years ago from a DL order. But its having a bit of a fit right now,I hope she pulls through this.

Yes, Julie...that's the 'Giant' lacunosa. To tell you the truth... I have about 5 different H. lacunosa all growing in the same pot: Poonsak, Langkawi Island (very small tiny leaf), a red leafed one from Thailand (sent by a friend), ssp. lacunosa and ssp. palidaflora. After 3 years in the pot they all look alike...same leaf, more or less... It's all in the conditions they are grown in, I am sure....
Here are more photos of Hoya Chlorantha...
Thank you Carol for the lovely plant! I have 3 umbels (3 sets of blooms. I am not really technical with wording.) blooming at once.
