Oleysa...nice going!
Coralee...I had forgotten I had put a kerrii to grow up a tree outside years ago...and while my plant in the greenhouse didn't bloom for the 8 years it lived there...I saw these on the tree. Memory (or the lack of it) is wonderful....
Love those red blooms Carol. Did you identify this plant?

I got this H. walleniana plant from Carol a month ago and although it came with buds they just sat there and almost seemed to dry up but swelled up for me again and I HAVE FLOWERS!
I apologize for the picture but these flowers droop downward and I had to hold this plant above my head and take these pictures one handed.
Carol, at first I missed the splash of color on your picture. Then I looked again and saw the color break. In plumeria plants, color break raises suspicion of virus. However it is not always a virus. What about hoyas with color break?
Is that a chlorantha flower?
And I am so happy to see your kerrii blooming in the tree. May be greenhouse is not such an attractive place for kerrii.

I believe the red blooms are H. bordenii....
Yes, Alka...that is H. chlorantha ssp. T....mother of your plant. I had never seen the variation in color before...could be a virus...dunno, but I doubt it. Why do I doubt it...don't know. Variegation in plants is a virus too...or can be...some viruses can be OK, I think. Doesn't seem to bother the plant.
