I got Hoya alagensis from epiphytica to bloom!I have it in my bedroom under a led light.It came with a peduncle that has been dried up and dormat for almost a year,but for some reason...decided to grow!It may have something to do with me switching out to organic nutes and adding bennifical bacteria and mycorrhizae to the potting medium.It has a scent similar to H.buotii...floral and spicey,but much more powerful at night.It permeated the whole bedroon when I left the door shut one evening!The flowers are not that yellow,but that could be due to the led light it is growing under.   |
