Rolling on the floor laughing Janet ... I wish I knew the answer. Don't have any roosters near by .... but I think they might start pretty early ;-)

Sunrise 3:40 am June 28th 2009 - I know I've posted this one a few times already, but I think it needs to be included here ;-)

Yes it is :-) Unfortunately I don't think the forecast is very good, so we probably won't see the sunset/sunrise tomorrow.

Thanks Frank - glad you enjoyed them :-)
not compared to the US ...... there's been an increase in burglaries in the past few years .... but I think this is still one of the safest countries in the world. The police are only armed with clubs (I think) and the president doesn't need bodyguards or any security measures for that matter ....

how about drugs. i imagine thare is very little or njone at all, what with the population.

if your president doesn't need body guards and your cops don't need guns then i'm moving to iceland.

drugs are a problem .... I think over 90% of crime is related to drugs .... if it weren't for that demon I don't think we'd even need to lock our doors .... ;-) That would be nice ......

Hand guns are illegal here ..... therefore cops don't generally need to carry guns ... there is a trained special force that is armed if the need arises. That hardly ever happens ....

Thank you :-) It's the same here as everywhere else, life would be so much better and safer if it weren't for illegal drugs ....

I might point out that if you want to see the summer nights live, check this link in the evening US time ... the local time is above the map in the upper left hand corner where you can choose between different cameras ... I think you'll find it pretty cool :-) It's 1:30 am now and pretty darn bright ;-) http://www.inspiredbyiceland.com/icelandlive/#geysir

http://www.inspiredbyiceland.com/icelandlive/#tjornin you might have to wait a while for it to load, but it only took a few seconds ... the screen is white at first, then turns black and then you get the live cam ..... hope this one works ...
