we will go up on sunday and stay a day or so and bring ava back with us for a few days and then return her on friday so she can have her swim lesson on saturday.

Frank - I hope the knee surgery will go well. I'm glad the timing is so convenient for your trip! Thumbs up And those figs look great!

Do you know when the apartment will be ready for you and Deb to move in? Sounds like you're making good progress! And you are such good grandparents as well :)

Herbie, nice fig tree. I can't wait till you get to taste them. Cool TV, and it's great to have family help!
Ava is so lucky. She's got a lot to do. I'll bet dinner tasted fantastic!

Rann, have you done any more planting in the area around the bridge or where you took out the tree/shrub? It's been so long, I can't remember exactly all you've done :o)

From time to time we get fig trees that come up because of the birds. They can kind of be weeds around here. I could never tell when the fruits were ripe so I never got any to eat. The birds and/or squirrels got them all. They didn't seem to be bothered by any kind of bugs. (We don't have any fig tree now.)
