Well, we're getting a summer bonus - it's sunny and 59°F today with just a light breeze blowing - just wonderful :-) Hurray!

School starts tomorrow - we went today to pick up their schedules and meet the teachers.

Kelli - when I lived in Florida I looked forward to the winters too ;-) Hilarious!

Sherry - no, black is the most common color people wear here in winter as dreary as that is ..... we should wear more colors to cheer us up.

Just to show you the contrast between where I live and the countryside outside the greater Reykjavík metropolitan area (pop. around 150.000 :rofl:) here's a photo from Snæfellsnes peninsula ...... it's about 3 hour drive from Reykjavík accross the bay of Faxaflói. This was last Thursday. As you can see there's not a tree in sight and the wind was blowing pretty briskly.
