|Connie - there are some fall color photos in the first post of this thread It's been an unusually long fall this year ..... the first killing frost is usually in September.
Here are some more, these photos were taken the middle of October - most of the leaves have dropped now.
Acer platanoides is a bit late turning color so most years the leaves are still green when they freeze, it showed some really nice colors this year :-)
Seed pods on Berperis x ottawensis var. atropurpurea - never seen those before
Fagus sylvatica var. atropurpurea turns orange
