hi, i'm an artist, and i want to explore a landscape art idea. i will be coming to olafsfjordur next summer for an art residency, and i would like to see if it would be possible to plant several varieties of wildflowers in a field, using an artistic pattern.

i don't know about plants that grow in north iceland, and i would like to hear what varieties of wildflowers grow there, and hear suggestions.

i would also like to know how hard it is to bring seeds into the country, do you need a permit? are there issues about invasive species?

thanks for all replies.
