oh my aching BONES.

just got back from weeding all day in Epperson's garden. He had some recticulus/ata - whatever, I'll learn species eventually - blooming. First time I'd seen it in the garden. Just like the photo above. How gorgeous and rich a color, and just as precious as they can be.

Bob said it might be another kind, a hist - something or other, too, but who cares, I love them!

that sounds about like what he called them. My hearing is so bad, and he's quite soft spoken - the two don't mix that well. Should have asked him to repeat himself.

Just the crocus which get the heat bounce off the house. Lots more to come other places if deer don't get those.

((((anita)))) we have daffs about to bust open, and camellias that usually open Christmas through Valentines are going to town now, and .....Epperson had the species above blooming. or it might be the historieses ones. His hyacinths are budding out, too.

Anita Now you see what living in New england is like. John thinks he sees some tiny stirrings of the Harmony reticulata. This after he raked leaves yesterday. Have to clear the rest of the areas where daffodils live. As much as he grinds his teeth we will not see any pumilas from mid to late April.
