| I received a notice about an upcoming iris show and wanted to share the info here. On April 10-11, the Greater New Orleans Iris Society and the Acadiana Iris Society are joining to hold a Louisiana Iris Show in the Sculpture Garden in City Park. This will be the same weekend as the Spring Garden Show in the New Orleans Botanical Garden, so it's a great time to come visit N.O. if you are a gardening enthusiast. The Show is free, and anyone is eligible to enter irises. | There will be an iris show in Greensboro NC May 7th at the Embassy Suites. It's a judged show, part of our Region 4 Spring Conference. Given our cold weather of late, we may have lots and lots of types of irises blooming for the show -- or not many at all. A few more weeks should tell us which. |
