We're up again. We should know more shortly about how long it will be for,but it's nice to see people posting here.

If nothing else, we can certainly chat while we're waiting for news.

Yes, I am happy and thankfully for every minute with all our friends here. This is an area were we can be us and not have to watch each and every word that is said, thought or felt.

Made 2 BB crosses today--more fun to think about hybridizing than quarrels.

Hi Lucy, definitely.

I posted on DG to please keep the iris forum for irises. They don't need to fight our battles on the iris forum. Nor do we need to fight it here, on the Cubits Irises. .

I am just so happy to be back, and have my friends posting on Cubits Irises. There is a place for both Dg and Cubits.

Congratulations, Polly and Denise,
I hated to read the disappointment in your shutdown e-mail, Polly. Participating in this forum has been lots of fun. I'm hoping not to get another notice like that, selfishly for me, but more for you two and all the kindness you have put into it.

Well, I tried to block it out saying it can never happen. You will never know how upset I was when I clicked on cubits and it was really gone. It really made me appreciate having it here even more. I live way out in the country, 15 miles to town. No neighbors, and a husband that doesn't like flowers or company. Don't really want to post on the other forum since this all started. I would really miss everyone terribly if this forum disappears.

A lot of my TBs blooming and even a few Sibs! I have been taking pictures in between working and weeding, and trying to dig another flower bed, LOL. Will try to post some pictures tomorrow.

Aw, thanks Mark. That was very nice of you to say.

Praying that after the holiday that DG figures out it is not in their best interest to destroy Cubits. I did not come here and ignore DG if anything because of Cubits I was staying with DG as well because there is a place on the internet for BOTH...

Thank you all for your support.

I only made one post regarding the situation on DG then quit watching the topic. There's nothing I can do regarding the legalities of the whole thing so I'm just along for the ride. I had hoped to be a part of both communities too. I really hate situations like this--

I am really glad cubits is back up and running and plan to keep enjoying it for as long as I can:)

MShadow, I know what you mean! We live almost 40 miles from the nearest town. Dee and the rest of those on here make me feel like I am part of a very special family. Only you would understand that completely. I hope I won't lose touch with ANY of you, as you have become part of my daily life. BTW, thankfully, my DH is a gardener and dearly loves the iris, as do I.

I am not going to comment on the other site, but will continue to try and keep in touch with everyone.

We had to leave our gardens just as the TBI were just starting to open their buds. I can only hope we can get back before they have all bloomed out. I have been waiting impatiently all winter to get back out and play in the yard. Some of the iris beds are being choked by weeds and strawberry plants. That is really upsetting me.

Have a wonderful weekend friends. Group hug Donna
