Welcome Kitty13.

Do not know if I will show this year except for seedlings and that is almost impossible no matter how I pack as have small car, and must drive 50 miles there...

Wish it was closer

Looking forward to more pictures kitty13

Our shows are 7 minutes away but I always think I'll have an accident because I'm so distracted if any of the irises move....

It ours were just that close but I have done all the hints on getting them there without breaks and tears...I love to go but do not like to show and really never have.

I do enjoy the show once I have gotten there and every iris is in one piece, but getting there is a little stressful.....I do enjoy the flowers though, it is also the running around in the early AM to cut flowers, however did cut them the PM before and a good thing as we had a heavy frost the night before and I would have lost all the flowers:(

Yes kitty13, one year if many of us had not cut the iris in the PM there would be no show at all as in the wee hours of the morning it hailed on the day of the show!

I enjoy seeing the show...and going.

How true that is...

But the one I did cut at the last minute won the best in class and it was the ONLY stock and having guest the next day...

Stormla I hope you found the Spoons site.
Thanks Dee for putting it on here.
Ao sorry I don't get back to everyone like I should. Between running the shop and I have had some eye problems and can only stay on the web a short time. I won't bore you with it though.

Kitty13 I saw this lady with the awesome bunch of Iris and was wowed and then saw later it was Makj. So glad you are here.

I am so happy to see so many of the old names that were getting rarer on DG here, feels like old home week...and so many new names as well.

Polly and I truly are happy as clams to welcome you all.

DaLoveRat, come over and get comfortable and invite Pat...as she is SORELY missed by us both.
and so are you.

Well everyone this is Sharon from Las Vegas. We are still having rain and that is fabulous. Love the new artwork on the log in page. Wow, we are uptown.... I still thing we should use our first name. I have had my full name on DG for over two years with no problem. You must remember that my social security does not pay for remembering log in names from profile names and I cannot keep up. Just give it a thought. I got my blood test this morning to see what infection I have in my lungs and then came home to have my new LG washer & dryer installed with steam program in both. I am getting better. Not well but much better. I did about 30 minutes of gardening but got three things off my list. It was a good day., Love you all.
If it is not going to affect you five years from now, do not let it get you down.

Just another thought. My hair, because of this infection, is still falling out. I will probably looking for some of Sharron's hats real soon...But I do not look good in Oink. I need Black & White or Red. I am a Winter with a Winter sign for clothing.

Giggle...
I'm reading along, loving the iris images, soaking up every word, realizing Irisarian is my DG friend too, and see SharonK's post.....Oink? Hmmmmm, I thought all the time that hat was Pink.
Just shows what I know.
Sorry, I had to giggle.

Your blooms are wonderful. Now if only I could get rid of this snow that's falling outside. Again.

Thanks for the Iris tour, I'll be back for more.
