Look at the area of the falls, either love or hate it.

Would like the falls fuller but what it throws with the marking on the beard, is quite different

No really good enough pictures to post this year from the seedlings

SDBs are cute & very useful is smaller gardens. I really would like to spread that word.

I think iris, that the word is being spread as more and more customers are buying the medians and more are the SDB

Lucy we have, rather I have since I bring 90% of medians to the sale, a picture of the one mixed bed I had with MDB SDB IB and TBs in the same bed. By taking picts at different times during bloom season you can show that the little ones extend the iris season and with rebloom it is even more extended,

Most of my RE start in August to September and continue to bloom into December.

We have trouble with rebloom here. Even John's 'Brom Bones' doesn't always do so. We were lucky on that one as one time moved a clump closer to the house & never had any rebloom. So the further away clump performed. Even 'Forever blue' doesn't rebloom for us. I think that we are too near the ocean (5 miles) so out august nights start getting cooler early.

Thank you folks, I love these small iris. For the past 3 years I've been planting them along the outskirts of my shrub beds in front of the house and along the stair path there. I love that they rebloom. Last year I went overboard on ordering too many different varieties. This year I will focus on getting more of some that I already have. I'd like it to look a little more pulled together.

Thanks so much for all the wonderful photos, pure eye candy! Speaking of eyes, Denise, I hope yours is all better now.

I am adding more this year as I do think they are just little gems tucked along the edges of any of my beds. Here are the new ones that I am adding. Patti

stormyla You don't have to add more of the same kind. Just divide them in July & they will increase away.

Irisarian, Thanks, Do you think I should divide them this soon? There's only one group that will be 4 years old. I could definitely do that one. All of the others are younger.
Last fall, I think I got 25 just from Dee alone. All were different. I never did that before, but everybody else seemed to be doing that and I got caught up in it.

Divide the 4 yr old clump & wait for the others to increase. They will as SDBs are quite hardy & most are fast growing. See what happens by July.
