I like this one better Lucy because it is 1st and Ameona and 2nd because of the strip instead of a spot.

I prefer the first one for possible introduction, but the second is usefull for my projects as well. Anyway better than the white stuff we have around.

Thank you all. Bless its little heart it formed a bee pod which I suspect is a self. I hope we will see something interesting--problem none of my seeds were planted before all the snow as the soil in the seed packs froze before I got to it. I should be more alert. Perhaps as the snow melts I can get to it as there should still be enough cold weather around.

The reason Hybridizing is so tough is so much time waiting for Dogs
this is Sunstrip X open Pollinated and will be introduced eventually

Trying to find the cross I cross Sunstrip with various SDB next to it this is the results with Cantique

This is an MDB out of Black Stallion X Candy Corn Not bad but keepable for now

This is the sibling second to open not so keepable

Amazing what different irises you can get out of a cross.

I like the pronounced light rim around Black Stallion X Candy Corn.

Is Not A Clue blooming. The only blossom here is 'Spring Beacon' which makes it difficult to get pollen to you at the correct time.
