Snow is around in patches, always that way every spring. I am getting to see towards the bottom of the outdoor hydrnat which is about 5 ft tall & was invisible from Jan. on.
Evan you can "watch" all the threads in a Forum by "watching" the Forum and don't forget to "join" regional gardening cubits and 'watch' their Forums too. Also irisloverdee and pollyk have listed other related cubits to join which are quite luvly :
bulbous plants
daylilies
hostas
lilies
peonies
roses
It's quite easy/peasy to cubitz around if you Forum watch.

ps all we are still snowfull but drippy. I call it the time of the snirt.
Here is the old white cemetery iris blooming yesterday and the purple intermediate purple bud. I'll be so glad when all the other irises start blooming. It will not be long now.
I'm going to dig most of these up and either get rid of them or plant them down near the fence line on the backside of the property.
The irises set their buds the previous late summer. So they were here when they set their buds. So you might get bloom this year, but next will really be the telling year.
I walked the iris beds this afternoon and a couple of mine already have buds and bloom stalks coming up. Not many right now but a few. Iris and Phlox. La. Irises ? They love water.
I do not know the name of any of these. Shoot for that matter I don't even know what kind they are all I know is they love water. These are old photos and I can't wait to see them blooming again.
