Kathy, I have a feeling you'll see blooms. Seems like dividing and moving really energizes them sometimes. I've noticed some heirlooms that bloom like mad the year after they're planted and increase rapidly, then are stingy with blooms in years following. I wonder if that is normal for some of them?
Polly, for the first couple of years living here I so missed Irises, I just kept planting and planting. This year, it's Irises galore! While I'm no longer missing them, I am on the hunt for particular colors- think I'm going to have to order some nice pinks! Gotta keep making sure spring is full of excitement!
Neal how bout posting photos of your irises and clumps of them on here for us all to enjoy? I think
I told you most of mine got the snot beat out of them by the severe stomrs with all the hail in them.
Doris, do you recall where that one came from? I have a clump that looks very much like that in full bloom, and I can't for the life of me recall where they came from. I just moved some amber colored Heuchera into the bed with them, its a gorgeous combination!
That would be a beautiful combo! I'm with Kath, I live for combos.
Betty, who is able to change the iris name on the TWiki? I haven't done any work on there since it first started, so I don't recall anything about it. Thank you and Brock and everyone else that has worked on that project, by the way.
