Sally, your dwarfs are adorable, I'm loving that blue of Sleepy Time too! I love to pluck a bloom and carry it around the garden, holding up to various blooms and foliage. That's how I usually decide what to pair up with each other. Finding just the right combo is one of the most fun parts of gardening for me Smiling

I've gotta wait till next month to get a new camera, and it's killing me! I think I'm going to have to borrow one for Iris season.

Polly, I don't know how to correct it, but I sent an email to Bob Pries and I'm sure he or someone else involved with that part of it can take care of it.

Polly, Update on bog iris. It is loaded with blooms and there is one in the ground that had a bud on it. I will measure the ones in the bog if you want. They are looking good.

Sorry Charleen, I thought you meant it was blooming now.

I must say, the one in the bog looks much better than the one in the ground. That's really going to help me a lot with my southern customers.

Now, if anyone can answer this question for me. One of my customers has geese, and they want to know if the geese will pull up the newly planted irises. I've never had that question before. Anyone have geese? Charleen, do you have geese, LOL.

OK, I guess the answer is, I don't have a clue what the geese will do.

I suspect Iris might be an appetizer.
Unless it has a bad taste.

Thanks, she did say they pulled out pond plants. Since I didn't know the answer she ended up putting tomato cages around them. I have to believe once the roots get settled in the geese won't be able to pull them out.
