Sorry to hear that Lucy. My first one was broken and I was still using it but had to buy another one. The first now is completely broken and I am taking pictures with a new one (of course impossible to get exactly the same, with the same settings, the same battery, etc..) and this is not obvious for me. With the argentic you could keep your camera for life it is not the same with digital camera. Hope you wll find a quick solution to go back snappingg (i just learn this word so I practice).
Thank you to let me know about the thread.

So you did not tell me you got a new camera C, so now you know the trouble I am having with mine still.
The only time I take as indepth pictures of an iris is when I am going to introduce it and you have done it on most...wish I had the time to do it as you...You make me almost want to get Rustic Cedar again...LOL
Thank you ladies.. Yesterday was incredible hot and last night we had a big thunderstorm and it is still pouring cats and dogs. I had a look at the garden. A disaster now all the irises have been damaged by the strong rain. I wanted to show you something I never noticed before with irises : it was so hot that some were wiely open which does not occur most of the time here. Didi you see on the left of the last row the picture of Thornbird? Irises are very scarcely open like that. I guess you recognse to whoch irises these closups were. Gmlad you enjoyed them and thank you for telling me.
