hello every one i am new to this space and simply wanted to say that i did grow well over 500 iris in several catagories i lost that garden to divorce in 06 i have set out to rebuild (any help with that would be appreciated) the ex says i can have them now (7 years later) there have been major losses but roughly 150 -200 talls and arilbreds remain i hope to cllect them sat. ive seen several names i recognize here i have posted about any where there is a iris forum some of you may know me i am randall dixon also known in other forums as arilbred, slate stone, and codetalker. well this got lengthy will quit now and again hello all donaald eaves are u here

Greetings! Glad you made it over here. (Randall and I are old trading buddies - until he disappeared for a few years.)

Glad you're getting some of your iris back. I'll be gone all of June, but then we can go through the list and I'll restock what I can. The flood two years ago did a number on my arilbreds and I cut back on that space and went to historics.

great plants. Many arils are too much so for us, but we do grow the quarterbreds. The only one which bloomed this yr was a seedling of mine & that only one stalk.

arilbred is a cross between an 'aril' desert iris & a clone of a regular bearded iris, either TB or median.

Sorry about the name thing arilbred, even more sorry to hear about your Irises, Hope you can recover quickly. You have some very beautiful Irises and I would love to see more in the future. Big Grin
